What we have here is a Vintage Kaysons Fine China double spout with attach plate gravy boat that has the Golden Rhapsody pattern that was made by the Kaysons Import Corp in Japan in 1961. It’s been referred to as “chic mid-century style” meaning a graphic design that generally describes mid-20th century developments in modern design. This design is a soft gray color with a metallic gold decoration on both sides of the gravy boat, which is a wild flower design that resembles Lily of the valley and the rims, is outlined with gold. The Kaysons Company did not just put this design on the dinnerware and serving pieces but also on drinking glass and silverware to give a person a complete set for the table. A double spout gravy boat with attached plate has not been very popular with the public generally. This is why you do not see many double spouts with attach plate gravy boats in the antique market. There are no chips, cracks, scratches, repairs, or stains it is in excellent mint condition.
