Manhattan Design Ashtray
Great Deals Webstore
This Manhattan design pattern was used between 1938-1943 by the Anchoes Hocking Glass Company. This pattern consists of horizontal ribs and ribs on the underside of the ashtray. This was one of Anchor Hocking more popular patterns. In 1987 Anchor Hocking introduced, a newer line called Park Avenue, but preserved the integrity of Manhattan by making the new pieces with different measurements. So buyer be wear and don’t be fooled. This ashtray is in excellent conduction with no cracks, chips, stains, or scratches. However, there is a little bit of excess glass in one of the three cigarette saddles. I will not remove it for the main reason it could turn into a chip.
