Here is a vintage, Parker-Kalon, No. O.X. metal punch that was made by the Parker- Kalon Corporation in New York N.Y. and the design was patented in Jan. 21, 1915. However, the parts list paper was printed in 1936, which would lead a person to believe that the tool was made in 1936 or later. I do not think they would print the parts list at a later date and then send it to their past customers. The item has some signs of cosmetic wear, but is operational and functions as it was intended. The rated capacity is a 1/4" hole in 14 gauge mild steel. It appears that all of the dies are there. However, the 1/8” and 3/32” punches are missing. There is one extra 5/32” and one extra 17/64” punches, and two 3/16” punches in the box. I found the paper for the set hidden in the box under the dies where it was for years. The box is metal and is the original box and shows some wear.
