1970’s Coca Cola Pedestal Glasses

     Here is a pair of vintage 1970’s Coca Cola 12oz. pedestal drinking glasses. The Coca Cola glasses were made at the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in the 70’s. The Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Toledo, Ohio bought the Root Glass Company from the Coca-Cola companies president in the mid-30’s and made the Coca Cola bottles. The Owens Illinois Glass Co. specializes in glass container products like bottles, glassware, etc. If I was to give a guess I would say the Coca Cola glass where make by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company. The glass was distributed though Gas Station during the 1970’s gas wars. (I think) They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, liquid stains, and the colors are vivid, clear, and bright. They look like they have never been used.
