Art Deco Square Ashtray

     This is a very rare Art Deco design pattern. I think it is called Strawberry Diamond pattern and if I am correct then the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company made it. It is a press glass also known as sandwich glass. Some call it tic/tack/toe or grid pattern. On each of the four corners has a cigarette saddle. It was made in the depression yeas some time. That would be in the late 20’s early 30’s and it is a hard piece to find in today antique glass market.
