What we have here is an Anchor Hoching Early American Prescut Star of David oval relish dishes with scalloped edges. Prescut means the molten glass was put into a mold and press by a machine to form its shape and design. This small oval relish tray or sometime called a pickle dish was produced in the 1960’s and the pattern has been discontinued in the 1980’s I think. The full name for this dish and pattern is Anchor Hocking Clear, Pressed Star, Fan Design and the AHCPRE is the pattern code. Sometimes you will see EAPC, which stands for Early American Prescut, which was glassware that Anchor Hocking Glass Company produced from the early 1940’s to the late 1960’s, and the Star of David was used a lot by the Anchor Hocking Glass Company. This item is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks deep scratches, scuffing, or wear marks.
