This is a 2-speed breast/shoulder hand crank drill (no. 107.1) from the Fulton Tool Company, which was one for the major tool supplier for Sear, Roebuck & Co. in the first part of the 20th century before the Craftsman brand of tools, which was started, around 1927. The Fulton tools were the most popular tool brand offered by Sears for woodworking tools. Tools like saws, axes, planes, chisels, hammers, pliers, and many other items. In the pre-Craftsman days, references to Fulton Tools appear in Sears catalogs as early as 1908, showing either the name "Fulton" or "Fulton Tool Co." on the tools. The "Fulton" brand of tools was the most frequently mentioned tool brand in the Sears catalog at that time. After the introduction of Craftsman tools, Sears continued to use the "Fulton" brand of tools as a lower-cost alternative to the Craftsman tools. I believe the Fulton Tool Company closed their doors in the mid-60s. I am not sure of the date on this drill but after 1927 the Fulton tools was slowly replaced by Craftsman tool. The hand drill will be partly disassembled for shipping purpose.
