     Discover the exquisite craftsmanship of Nagoya Seito Company masterpieces of the mid-20th century from the Japanese craftsman. The Nagoya Seito Company was founded in 1908 by a former Noritake engineer. With over a thousand unique patterns bearing the name Meito China, which means "fine sword," or “excellent sword.”  These pieces are a testament to excellence from the Nagoya Seito Company. The Meito China is known for its quality and delicate designs. The company predicted over a thousand unique patterns in their 35 years in business. The Sumitomo Steel Corporation acquisition Nagoya Seito Company in 1943 and closed the doors for good. There is one small crack about 3/8” long on the left side of the plate and one skip scratch across the front of the plate removing some of the paint, which nether one of them can be seen in the phots. There is one manufacture flaw in the front of the plate which can be seen in the phones. Other than that the plate is in mint condition with no dents, chips, necks, fleabites, repairs, stains, and has not been modified in any way.
