Here is a lovely Lace Rim Sherbet Dessert Dish from the Anchor Hocking Glass Company. This is a press glass pattern that is called “Old Colony” and it was made in the 1940’s. these dishes would be used as a dessert dish to hold sherbet, fruit, etc. The rim was made to resemble a lace like design giving it the name of lace rim or open lace rim with the hole. There is no maker’s mark on the back however there is the number 6. It does have some fleabites that are hard to see and one chip under the lase rim which can only be seen from the underside and is not noticeable from the top or from any direction. Other than that, it is in excellent condition. It is a little smaller then most of the dishes that has the same pattern.
