This is a Vintage 16" Millers Falls 731 Ratcheting Hand Drill that was made in the 40s. it was producted by the Millers Falls Co. and it is model no. 731. This oversized hand-powered wooden hand drill/brace works just like the day it was assembled. Uses the old style 2-jaw system with Leland's universal jaws, which dates this particular brace drill to be between 1917-1940. The ratcheting brace mechanism is reversible and will also function as a screwdriver. The handles are Redwood with a dark stain finish. It is a use tool showing wear on it and that it was through around in the tool box. There is some rust on it however it is in very good condition.
