Here is a handmade month blown glass pitch from the Victorian Era. There is no hallmark to help identify the company or the glassblower of the picker. The style and the bubbles in the glass and the blow-pipe pontil scare on the bottom of the pitcher all point to the fact that this was make in the late 19th century which was the Victorian Era. At that time most items like this pitcher were free-blown which means blown without any containment mold. Instead, it was formed and shape by a skill glassblower and there was no mass production of this glass product for the main reason that the assembly line concept had not been invented. This beautiful mouth blow pitcher has a ruffled top which forms a pour spout in the front of the pitcher. It has two green bands around the top with white milk-glass dot in the middle of the green bands, between the two green bands is a white milk-glass dot swirls, and curves design. Two-thirds of the way down from the top of the pitcher is acid etch giving a frosted appearance and there is  a band of white milk-glass dots forming flowers, leaves, and a wavy vine going around the girth of the pitcher. In addition, there is a number of gold bands on the top part of the pitcher which looks like they were hand painted on to the pitcher. The pitcher handle was made separately and then attach to the pitcher when the glass was still hot. The craftsmanship of this pitch is nicely done making it a work of art that any glass collector or Picher collector would be proud to add to their collection. It is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, necks, fleabites, repairs, or stains.
